- Last year, Coach Sam would give the girls a cupcake if their serve hit an opposing player in the face. This year, we got at least a half dozen cupcakes.
- During one of her long serving streaks, Hasini knocked the wind out of a girl on the other team and hit another girl in the neck on consecutive serves.
